ECONOMIC NETWORKS AND COMPETITIVENESS OF COMPANIES, BRANCHES AND REGIONS

Abstract: The development of economic networks, and most of all, development of supply networks, brings new look for the problem of branches and companies competitiveness. It is than necessary to include the aspect of networks to the new paradigm of competition that concentrates on these elements of value chain that make the most value as well as proper relations between other elements of the chain. It is worth trying to build an appropriate analytical schema dedicated to these problems. Theory of value migration, conception of companies activity models, profit models and modular approach - these tools may be used here. It is also necessary to confront the knowledge related to the economic networks with the theory of clusters.
